Is this the sensor that fits on top front area of manifold?

Hi Mike! Since you didn't mention the specific vehicle, it's hard to tell for sure. To give you the correct information I would need the year, make, model and engine size of the vehicle.

    • Q:

I ran a check engine diagnostics in my car (Hyundai Elantra 2006 GLS) and was asked by the dealer to change "Fuel to air ratio sensor - PN: 234-5430). I asked him whether it is the oxygen sensor or something else. The dealer replied it is different and is called as "Fuel to air ratio sensor", which will cost 320$ for parts alone. This is too much higher than what I see here.

      My question is:
      1. Is it the same sensor that I am looking here to buy or something different.
      2. Please send the specification for this, as I am trying to fix this by myself.

Hi Diwakar, glad to assist you! This is the sensor that you are looking to buy to fix the problem. This air fuel sensor is an exact fit for your 2006 Hyundai Elantra GLS and it is an upstream sensor. Specifications: Connector Gender: Male, Connector Type: Direct fit, Heated: Yes, Length (Sealing Surface To End Of Connector): 20.87 inches, Thread Size: M18 mm, Wire Quantity: 5. For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts. The repair manual part number is 43010.
