Q:On the 1996 Rodeo, where are the primary connections to the Delphi GN10123 Ignition coil and how is the ignition coil removed?
A:A common way is to individually detach each of the spark plug coil-overs one at a time and if a power decrease occurs on that cylinder, it is good. But when you pull off the bad Ignition coil and power decrease is not present then that coil would be at fault. Removing an ignition coil usually involves removing one bolt, unclipping the electrical connection and pulling out the coil. The coil sits right on top of the spark plug. 6 individual coils. remove a bolt and the power connector and pop it up to access the spark plug.
