Not really much to say about a brake cleaner product. It does the job well and complete. I would recommend two cans because I ran out before I was satisfied with the results. I was only doing a rear break job.

It works but just not enough product.

Wrote a previous review that haven't been published yet. In addition to that review, I have just used the non-chlorinated can to safely remove paint or permanent marker, not sure which it was.

Just visited my sister and took some parts to work on her 97 Corolla. She had installed a side view mirror from the junk yard for over a year now. It had the year and model info written on the black housing for the mirror. This was not color coded to match the paint of the car. She said she tried to clean of the writing, but didn't know what to try to safely remove it without damaging the color of the mirror.

I sprayed the year to see if worked with no damage. The writing started to streak and since the brake cleaner leaves no residue and evaporates, perfect thing to remove it without no damage. Cleaned the entire writing that have bothered her for a while. Not what I intended to use it for, but just another great use for the product.

Cleans brake calipers and rotors very well. Just like the regular chlorine product, this also seems to do a very good job. To me the non-chlorine product dries very fast, almost evaporates after a few seconds.

Another use besides a brake job, I used it to clean my Nissan Maxima PCV valve. Valve is $13 and only available for delivery, would've replaced if available and or cheaper. Valve didn't seem clogged after 60k miles, but after cleaning it, the plastic was moving very freely.

Recommend this product for both uses, even better that is was on sale.

This stuff is great, it literally blasts dirt and rust right off the brake rotors and other parts as if it was a As Seen On Tv item. My only problem is that in the single brake job I did for all 4 tires changing out brakes and rotors I almost used the whole can, but what you save doing it yourself makes up for it rather than going to a shop spending hundreds of dollars.

I have used it all. It all works... But there are some that are alot better. This is one of the best! The Red CRC can is pretty good but I notice more of a residue left with it and it sure comes out of the can too fast. This Green can leaves no residue, and sprays a long time!

I've tried just about all brands of brake cleaners.
The CRC red & green label both are some of the better ones. They even soften and remove carbon deposits from engine valves. Works great as a gun cleaner as well.
