Comments about Crankshaft Rebuilders Remanufactured Crankshaft Kit:

Best to have a stack of the factory aluminum rod guides or some 5/16 dowels to help guide crank into place. Can install without pulling heads by leaning engine about 75 degrees on engine stand. Be sure to use pre-lube. I plastigaged all journals and all were within mfgr's requirements.

How does the core charge work with this particular product?

Can I bring the old crankshaft with me to the store and exchange it at time of purpose, or will I need to pay the core charge and exchange it via some other method?
