      A:

I'm happy to help, Jonathan! This Clore Automotive 900 Peak Amp Jump Starter (Part No. JMPJ900) is recommended to be charged with the supplied wall charger. An alternative method is through the DC power outlet using the provided 12 Volt Male-Male Extension Cord. This second method is not automatic and must be monitored because the unit could be damaged due to overcharging.

      A:

Kindly check your battery and alternator. If both works fine then make sure that the charge is getting to the battery. Check the battery voltage with the car off (should be ~12.0v), then with the car on (should be 13-14v). If you will get this values then your battery is good otherwise you have to change your battery. A:

The Clore Automotive 900 Peak Amp Jump Starter (Part No. JMPJ900) comes with 12 Volt and Cranking Amps : 250. You will have to insert the wall charger into the charging jack (located in the rear of the JMPJ900). Connect the wall charger AC/DC Adaptor to the AC outlet (the yellow charging light will light). Allow the JMPJ900 to charge until the 'Charge Complete' light comes on (you can monitor the progress by checking the red 'Power Level' lights - when all three power level lights are lit, the 'Charge Complete' light should come on). Once the 'Charge Complete' light comes on, charge another three to six hours, (three hours is acceptable, but to ensure maximum output capability, six hours is preferred). If you are not planning to use your JMPJ900 right away, you may leave it connected to the wall charger. We recommend that the wall charger remain connected to the JMPJ900 when not in use. For any further assistance please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto store and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
