Comments about Casite Motor Honey Oil Treatment:

this product was used in a silverado (2002 4x4 with 176,000 miles 5.3 vortech always used sythetic) on a trip up north pulling a toy hauler trailer that is 24 feet long. the oil pressure was on the average 5 to 10 lbs. better than previously noticed. alway keep a container of this for heavy duty work environments. When i ust this product I always allow plenty of time for the bottle to completely empty due to the theory of mmy own is that the best part of the product sticks to the edges. So alow a few extra minutes to let it all drain out. Great product especially when You find it on sale.

Comments about Casite Motor Honey Oil Treatment:

I have a 1993 Chevy Silverado with the 350. It has over 200k miles on it, and it started to develop a slight knock and would smoke until it warmed up. I put 2 bottles of Motor Honey in my truck and noise stopped and the oil pressure is close to where it should be. This will allow me time to find another rebuilt engine, and I will use this product every oil change in the new engine, as I feel this product is great for the engine.

Hi Steven, unfortunately without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.

            • Q:

I have a 2001 toyota solara with about 178000 miles. it is leaking a little oil. Usually when I change oil every 3000 to 4000 miles, it has not dropped to where I have to add oil between changes. If the issue is a gasket leak, will adding motor honey cause any problems with my engine that is not worth the risk for this oil leak? thank you for your help.

If the issue is with the gasket leak, we would recommend you to fix the leak first and then add Motor Honey at every oil change for optimum efficiency.

Shop Svc Mgr at the Bug shop I frequent is a fan of Motor Honey, advised using it to top off between changes to [possibly] help compression issues with my '59 Bug which was recently brought out of storage. Have yet to try it but I respect the fellow's opinion, so believe the product wouldn't pose aany risks. ~Geo

will adding this product improve oil pressure?

Does oil pressure increase with products that thicken oil...ie. STP/MotorHoney ...or thin it out ie. MMO/Risoline

                A:

Normally motor honey helps to improve the oil pressure(where there is low oil pressure). Yes, it thickens the oil and pressure increases when you use Casite Motor Honey Oil Treatment. It's thick so that it will prevent oil from seeping past your piston rings and burning off.

                A:

MMO and Rislone are solvents in a mineral carrier. Many of these solvents are lighter fractions of petroleum, and will thin-out your engine oil. Having said that, Marvel seems to have more positive feedback compared with Rislone.

                A:

Massage a liberal amount of petroleum jelly into your hands, focusing on the dry areas like the knuckles and cuticles for a good five minutes. Use a dry washcloth to wipe off the petroleum jelly and rub harder on the stained parts of your hands. Make a miniature bath in your sink and soak your hands for five to ten minutes in a mixture of warm water and hair conditioner.
