Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

Several issues needed to be overcome: (1) The rail for the window regular was riveted to the door and I found that that it was easier to reuse it. (2) remove the old regulator/motor assembly from the old rail, leaving the rail attached to the door. (3) A helper or window jam is required to keep the window stable (4) reattach the new regulator to the old rail; bolt the unit in place; reattach power harness and switch; repair is complete!

      • Had to drill rivets

Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

The regulator is roughly the shape of scissors. The scissors open to raise the window and close to lower it on a pair of rails. The upper rail is riveted to the window. Instead of wedging a drill in the tight space I pulled the new rail off the regulator and slid the feet into the one that was there.
