Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

This item is very easy to install and can save you a small fortune if you were to get a professional to do the job. There are plenty of videos to follow if you are not sure how to get the car's interior panel off. It can be a little difficult reaching around inside the door. At first I was hesitant to pull the glass out all the way but found it to be very light and easy to handle. It is not hard to get it back in the track after you have the new regulator installed. The glass will be held by two screws that are accessible through some aligned holes. As mentioned before, this regulator does not have the auto feature, you do have to hold the button for as long as you want the window to move. Overall easy job that a do-it-yourselfer can accomplish in an hour or so.

Great, but not perfect

Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

This window motor absolutely gets the job done and for cheap. The job on my 2004 Civic was a piece of cake. The only small complaint I have is that it does not have the same feature that the oem motor had which allows one press of the switch and the window lowers all the way. You have to hold the window switch to lower completely. Oh the horror!

Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

This window regulator fit perfectly in the door frame of my 2001 Honda Civic EX Sedan. However, the problem was the window mounting point. The mounting holes on the regulator were too wide for the mounting holes on the bottom of the glass window.

Was able to use all original hardware on

Comments about CARQUEST Window Reg Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly:

Others said Part No. 741-742 comes with mounting studs and you need to go buy four metric nuts.
This one did not come with the studs so I was able to use the original bolts to attach it.
It does cost $27 dollars more than the other part number but thought it was worth it.
    I have a Honda 2002 Civic EX
