seems to be good, first time I've bought ceramic

Comments about Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

I bought these to put on a 2011 Nissan Altima. I like how it comes with the hardware and a pack of grease. Time will tell how long these last. This is the first time I've bought ceramic pads so I'm curious to see if there will be less brake dust and how long they last. If they wear out prematurely then I'll update this review.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

I purchased these pads and had them installed by a mechanic today. I replaced both front and rear pads and I tell you, it feels like I'm stepping on a cloud! Very soft, no noise (it's dead winter right now), and they are effective. I dont foresee any problems with these pads, but if anything shall change, I will edit/update my review. As of now, I am beyond satisfied and very giddy with excitement.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

Don't buy these break pads. I purchased my pads on Feb 10, 2014 and installed it a month later. Today Feb 6, 2015 I'm replacing the break pads again. Don't buy this cheap pads, you will end up paying double the installation labor costs.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

While the pads were easy to install, one needs to take notice when installing the hardware clips. I installed these on a Nissan Altima and the clips were not an exact fit like the originals. The replacement clips had a couple of small tabs that needed to be removed before they fit because the inner space where the clip straddles the rotor was wider than the originals. Those tabs hit on the mounting bracket and did not allow for proper seating.

The packaging could have been better. I purchased both front and rear brakes. Both of those boxes were placed into a large cardboard box without any packing materials to secure them from sliding around. When received, that larger outer box was torn and the brake pads from one of the boxes were loose inside.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Platinum Professional Ceramic Brake Pads - Rear (4-Pad Set):

I replaced the front brakes on my 2010 Nissan Altima last week using the Wearever Platinum Premium pads and they were absolutely great from the get go. I was impressed with the decreased stopping distance and great pedal feel when braking!!!

This week I did the rear brakes with the same pad treatment, along with Wearever rotors. I was impressed with only the front being done but with the rear done, too, WOW! What a difference it has made! Brake feel is better than it was as new with OEM brakes. The rotor/pad combo stops faster and quieter than ever before. I have so much more confidence stopping now, especially for sudden, quick stops. And NO noise whatsoever! Previously the rear brakes didn't seem to do much...now I can tell otherwise.

            These pads are top notch!!!

                A:

Hi Ugore, This part comes with a limited lifetime replacement warranty. The limited lifetime warranty part can be refunded for cash/credit within the 90 days time frame. After that time expires, it can only be exchanged for a new item. So the warranty is valid for the life of the part as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

Good question, GeeQ! Advance Auto Parts does sell Made in the USA products as well as products manufactured from many other countries in order to keep our pricing competitive. Please also keep in mind that many suppliers have multiple manufacturing plants that could result in different countries of origin for the same part.
