Q:Hello. I want to replace the single reservoir mc on my '62 Impala that is equipped with drum power brakes. I want to retain the drum power brakes and was wondering if this mc would fit my application?? Also, would I need a proportioning valve?? Thank you.
A:I'm glad to assist you! The part #13-1329 is listed as 1967-70 Drum brakes. For your 1962 Chevrolet Impala, it is listed as 10-49221 or 10-40000 depending on HD metallic linings or not.
Q:Hello I am doing a frame off restoration on a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer 4X4, 350 sbc, turbo 350 tranny. The vehical has power disc front brakes and drum rear brakes. I currently have a cardone 10-1511 master cylinder and the fitting sizes to the brake proportioning valve are incorrect. The master cylinder I need would have a 1/4" tube,9/16th-18 tpi outlet closest to the power brake booster/fire wall and a 3/16th tube, 1/2-20tpi outlet cosest to the front/core support.
A:Please check the Cardone Select Master Cylinder with Part No. 13-1511. This is the ideal part for your 1972 Chevrolet Truck Blazer 4x4 with 350 sbc, turbo 350 tranny.
