Q:while changing my front brake pads on my 2005 chevy caviler when i refilled the resivoir i noaticed a small pin hoe in the top of the resivoir I filled the system and bled the brakes . no fluid comes out of the pin hole when depressing the brakes , but is the hole normal never noticed it before ? have done brakes many times.
A:Happy to help Retired! I checked with a store to physically look at the top of the reservoir and they confirmed what my first thought was that it should be completely sealed. It needs to be sealed to keep out moisture that can seriously affect your brake performance. I suggest checking with your local store for availability of a new master cylinder.
Q:For car without antilock brakes? Thanx
