Fit my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado LS perfectly. The idiot light for the brake system came on so I began to diagnose why. There were no leaks and the brakes still worked. I have never liked the brakes in this vehicle since it was new... too spongy for me. So I tried bleeding the system but the stubborn light remained lit. I didn't want to waste a "Benjamin" and my time replacing a perfectly fine master cylinder. I let it go for many months but it kept on bothering me. I had never replaced a master cylinder so off to YouTube for a video lesson. Turns out this task was fairly simple. To my surprise THIS ITEM DOES NOT INCLUDE A BLEEDER KIT. I had to install it without bench bleeding. This meant that I had to heavily bleed the system in the truck. Bleeding turned out to be the longest part of the job. Not too upset since I essentially swapped the time that I would have spent bench bleeding the cylinder for bleeding the entire system longer. The part works great and no more idiot light!

Great product! Very easy to install. The only problem I have with it is it does not come with a bench bleed kit. Many other Master cylinders come with one. I tryed to pickup a Master Cylinder Bleed kit from any of the stores in the area and they did not carry them. They told me that they would have to order them. They thought they came with the Master cylinder. They told me that the brand they had before came with them so they never stocked any kits in the store.

Shopped other parts stores. They said their part would fit however, Advance was the only one to have a direct 100% OEM replacement. It fit perfectly with no issues. It certainly pays to do your research.
