Comments about Carquest Wearever Master Cylinder - New:

Easy to install, worked well. Comes with bleeding tubes and screw in adapters. 1995 Toy Camry XLE 4 cyl. Only problem was low level fluid connector was hard to connect. Too much friction. Old unit conector was easy to install or remove. New unit would not push in all the way. Still had another 1/8 inch to go in. Analyzing using Haynes book electrical diagrams, normally open connection so it would not affect my car operation if contacts did not mate. Recommend any purchasers to test the connector before bleeding and installing unit. Used rented powerbuilt vaccum pump to bleed at each tire. Worked well but always showed air bubbles at bleed screw despite bleeding lots of fluid (bubbles happpened with 2 cars)- which may be normal with the vacuum. Had second 2006 XLE next to the 1995 XLE to compare and brake operation was identical, including Haynes brake booster checks.
