CARQUEST Wearever Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder

Part No. WCA370051 Warranty Details

See if this part fits a specific vehicle.

Check Vehicle Fit

Direct replacement Wheel Cylinders are designed to fit specific vehicle applications and to ensure a proper fit every time. Normal wear may cause piston seals to leak. Corrosion and pitting can also occur inside Wheel Cylinders as moisture builds up in the brake fluid. A leaky Wheel Cylinder can be dangerous to the driver, causing gradual softening of the brake pedal and creating brake pull to one side.

Product Features:
  • All Wheel Cylinders are made with high quality EPDM rubber cups and boots for long lasting performance
  • Wheel Cylinder bores are surface tested to ensure an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups
  • Due to repair time and cost, it is more desirable to replace instead of repair Wheel Cylinders
  • Recommended replacement is suggested when servicing drum brake

Great product! I

The wheel cylinders were as good as the originals and fit perfectly. No problems installing. Recommend this product to all when they replace their brake shoes.

I noticed one of the wheel cylinders were leaking while checking rear brakes. Ordered this part online and picked up at the store. Removed the part from its plastic bag to install and noticed that the rubber boot on the brand new part was busted. It did not look like someone returned it and/used or abused it. It was with great frustration that I needed to stop everything, clean up and head back to another store to pick up a new wheel cylindeer.

Comments about Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

I put these cylinders on my 18 year old Grand Caravan that I count on to get me to work and back each day. Thanks to my AAP professionals, I can maintain this ride far cheaper than I can replace it. This is an excellent product and a perfect fit replacement .... no modification required. Back in the day, we honed out wheel cylinders and replaced the "guts" which was spring, pistons, and cups. With labor rates what they are today, these cylinders are a no-brainer value as opposed to rebuilding the old stuff. I have no negative comments about this product.

Comments about Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

Very good product, easy to install and is a direct replacement for OEM wheel cylinder. My cylinders were leaking which wrecked my shoes. Replaced those at the same time, also good products. Be sure that you have plenty of brake parts cleaner as this is an extremely dirty job (if you had leaking cylinders). Otherwise, very straight-forward replacement just remember to watch how the original parts were installed (maybe take digital photos) as it will save you time when puttin it back together.

Comments about Tru-Torque Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

These wheel cylinders are very handsome. The Grey metallic finish of the cylinder complements the contrasting black of the dust boots. They will definitely dress up the appearance of my drum brake assembly. They installed easily, as they matched the OEM cylinders perfectly. They stop the car, they don't leak.
