Carquest Wearever Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder

Part No. WCA370051 Warranty Details

See if this part fits a specific vehicle.

Check Vehicle Fit

Direct replacement Wheel Cylinders are designed to fit specific vehicle applications and to ensure a proper fit every time. Normal wear may cause piston seals to leak. Corrosion and pitting can also occur inside Wheel Cylinders as moisture builds up in the brake fluid. A leaky Wheel Cylinder can be dangerous to the driver, causing gradual softening of the brake pedal and creating brake pull to one side.

Product Features:
  • All Wheel Cylinders are made with high quality EPDM rubber cups and boots for long lasting performance
  • Wheel Cylinder bores are surface tested to ensure an optimum sealing surface for the pressure cups
  • Due to repair time and cost, it is more desirable to replace instead of repair Wheel Cylinders
  • Recommended replacement is suggested when servicing drum brake

Great product! I

The wheel cylinders were as good as the originals and fit perfectly. No problems installing. Recommend this product to all when they replace their brake shoes.

I noticed one of the wheel cylinders were leaking while checking rear brakes. Ordered this part online and picked up at the store. Removed the part from its plastic bag to install and noticed that the rubber boot on the brand new part was busted. It did not look like someone returned it and/used or abused it. It was with great frustration that I needed to stop everything, clean up and head back to another store to pick up a new wheel cylindeer.

Some durability issues

Comments about Carquest Wearever Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

Super price, and they fit well and last longer than their warranty (1 yr). However, I've replaced at least four of these (for corrosion and small leaks) on my minivan over the last five years, so there is some question of durability. But at less than $15 a pop, I keep putting them in!

Comments about Carquest Wearever Drum Brake Wheel Cylinder:

Replaced this on my 04 GC. The original started to leak.
Two 9MM bolts to loosen and the rest was history.
I'd recommend plenty of PB Blaster to help move it along smoothly.
About a month has past and all is good to go.
