Hardest part to this job was getting the old rotors off. After 120,000+ miles, they were stuck on. I had to use a sledgehammer, being careful to not hit any other parts or shields, on the top portion of the rotor (only section that was accessible) using a pulling motion to strike the back side of the old rotor. After multiple bumps, and constant turning of the rotor, it finally came free. New rotors appear to be just ever so slightly larger for the center spindle, which should prevent this from happening again. Time will tell! Once the old rotors were off, the new ones were a breeze to install.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

Rotors fit perfect on 2006 Grand Caravan. I had a caliper hang up and decided to replace both calipers both rotors and platinum pads
The van has 130,000 miles and the rear brake overhaul cost me less than $160 after using a online coupon and speedperks . Advanced Auto sells quality parts at a excellent value.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

Replaced both rear rotors on my 2007 Grand Caravan. The old ones like to never came off. I had to beat them over and over with a hammer to break them free. Eventually I won. The van had over 120K on it so no surprise they were on there good. The new ones slid right over the tiny emergency break shoes for a nice a snug fit. Also put new pads on at the same time. Now there's no more squealing and stopping distance is much shorter.
