It's a rotor

Overall, it's just a rotor! It's not my preferred brand and what I wanted off of Advance's website was UNAVAILABLE anywhere (so why have it listed then??)

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

Replaced rear brake pads and rotors on 1996 Mercury Sable. I also used the Caliper tool kit from the local store (require a deposit) to turn the calipers back in. Couldn't have done it without the tool kit.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

I got this rotor three months ago and it began to warp probably due to heavy braking. It was getting kind of scary sounding during quick stops at high speeds. I'm hoping this was just a fluke. Its not the brakes or calipers fault because I had replaced both with the rotor.
The two year warranty was nice in this case and I exchanged the warped otherwise good looking rotor for a new one no problem. Lets hope this one stays round and flat.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

I would not buy again being a mechanic took them of in four days. Do not believe the listing for your car. I will look at other suppliers for a good rotor. I should have known you get what you pay for but on a Saturday afternoon very few parts stores are open. And go ahead at edit what you want. Very displeased with the product.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Rear:

Ordered the rotors that were described as correct on the website, picked them up at my local store. Tried to install them only to find they were the wrong size and when I returned them to exchange for the correct rotors the price was 30% higher and the clerk was somewhat rude because I bought them on line. I am very disappointed with my experience and will find it very difficult to use their website for future purchases.

Website says it's a perfect fit for my 2005 mercury sable except when they weren't, I took them into the store and found that they match a model number for rear rotors not front, which is funny since the rear had drums. Be nice to have a little more accuracy and correct advice from such a reputable company.
