Ordered online for delivery to store. The brake rotor was already in stock. I picked it up without any issue the same day. It was easy to install and my brakes are now quiet and smooth. Very happy with my purchase.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Front:

This review starts with a story, and that story goes like this. About a year ago my wife and I purchased a new (to us) minivan. The Mazda MPV was an excellent fit for our needs. On the test drive we noticed some pulsing in the brake pedal, so we asked the dealer to machine or replace the rotors before delivering the van to us. They did, but what they didn't do was replace the brake pads that touch the rotors, so less than one year later, thinking the brakes were pretty new, the pads wore through and destroyed the new rotors that were on the van.

This brings me to Advance. Upon opening these rotors from the package I was surprised to find a very nice machined surface on both faces of the rotors. The crosshatch was smooth and consistent across the surface and consistent from part to part. The rotors were packaged in a plastic bag, with a light oil on them to prevent rusting in storage. A little brake cleaner and a clean rag were all that was required to prepare these rotors for install. By way of contrast the rotors that I took off of the van, despite just one year of service were already 2mm under the wear limit as specified by the manual. They were noticeably lighter weight than the Wearever rotors from Advance and clearly not as well made.

After installation it was time for the test drive. New brakes always feel good, and these were no exception. A big departure from the grinding pulsing mess that I removed, these were smooth, bedded in well and provided greater stopping confidence for me and my family.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Rotor - Front:

Brake pads and rotors are easier to install than you think, for a first timer. But make sure to buy the metal clips that hold the pads...because your vehical may have lost one or two over the course of useage.

Installed on 2002 Mazda MPV. No issues - first brake job I've ever done and went like clockwork.
Braking is super and silent after installation.

I have used these rotors on several other vehicles. They work well for everyday driving and are a great value. For the price it is worth replacing the rotors with every brake service.
