Use an impact driver with #3 Phillips bit to remove the 2 attaching screws. Have new screws available, as they will probably be slightly damaged. Also, don't forget to remove the preservative from the braking surface.

works great so far 500 miles. They need to be bedded/broke in. no shudder. A little side note. If your rotors have the 2 counter sunk screws they can be drilled out just enough so the screw heads are removed. then it is up to you if you want to replace them. They are not needed.

                    • Q:

These have a thickness of 21mm. 1989 CRX DX calls for 19mm thick rotors. Your website says they fit, but they do not. So they are basically trashed from the pad retaining clips grinding it. I really hope you can exchange for a correct 19mm thick CRX DX rotor. Ive made four trips to Autozone, three trips to Advance, rode my bike 12 miles, missed a day of work, all to find out the reason I cant finish this brake job is because your system is wrong. Please advise.

it's really up to you... you got the right idea about your rotors.

the price difference isn't much i think. but in my opinion new rotors and machined/ turned rotors cost about the same....

so if you install yourself i would go with brand new rotors.
                        good luck with your project
