Q:Does this part have the hole in it for the axle vent?
A:Glad to assist, Dave! There is a hole where it bolts down and that is where the vent would stick up through.
Q:looking for complete set of brake lines for 98 dodge ram 1588 4x4. your part numbers are confusing. some say which hose they are, others don't. would you be so kind as to tell me which ones i need?
A:A Dodge Ram 1500 4WD would need the following parts: Tru-Torque Brake Hydraulic Hose - Part No. H380541 (Front Left), Tru-Torque Brake Hydraulic Hose - Part No. H380344 (Front Right) and Tru-Torque Brake Hydraulic Hose - Part No. H38576 (Rear Center). For any further assistance please feel free to call 1-877-238-2623 and one of our representatives will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
Q:factory part has an a second rubber hose(looks to be for air for ABS) system air vent?
A:To help you in a better manner, Please be more specific on your query.
A:If this hose when followed from the axle housing ends up at the frame with a plastic type end on it , it is an axle housing vent.
Q:I am replacing this part. I have all brake lines, and vent removed. How do i remove this part from axle? There is the steel nipple that the vent was attached to. This appears to have a nut at the base that i figured would loosen up to remove part. However, nut seems welded to housing. Am i missing something or is nut just rusted on? Please resond ASAP.
