Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Hydraulic Hose:

Was planning replacement of all three hoses, but internal collapse made it an immediate necessity. There was a problem with the hole in the bracket half way up the hose (where it attaches to the upper control arm) not being large enough to fit over the stock bolt. Filed it. The other front hose was fine and went in without being filed. The new rear hose was over 8 years old, based on the manufacture date stamped on the rubber, so I took it back and got a newer one, this one only 10 months old. Someone should be paying attention to the age of any product that has an "expiration" i.e. parts with rubber etc.
