Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Hydraulic Hose:

This brake line sucks. After I installed it and bleed the breaks it was leaking from a tiny little bolt on top of the hose. One end is for the brake line and next to it is the tiny bolt. When I got it...it was loose so I tightened it and proceeded to screw on the brake line. Then bleed the brakes.

After turning on the car and pushing hard on the brakes the fluid would leak from that little bolt. So be aware. Use pipe thread sealant on it. They sell it from advance and made by Permatex. Thread sealer. If not you will have the same issue.

Comments about Carquest Wearever Brake Hydraulic Hose:

The bracket that holds the hose to the strut does not match the same angle as the OEM part so you have to bend it to make it fit without rubbing on the tire, which is a safety issue. Also the plug at the top of the line is not tightened down for good reason. DON'T USE IT! I had to return 2 hoses because they stripped as soon as you tightened them down. Take the cap off the original hose and use that instead. Disappointing that spending money on a replacement part, it still needs to be put together with OEM parts to make it work.

Was exactly like the original. Comes with copper washers, too. Be sure to save the plug from your old line and use it to plug one of the two ports where the brake line connects to the hose.
