Comments about CARQUEST Water Pump - New:

After approx 15 months this water pump experienced a catastrophic failure at/near the pulley --- the housing severed approximately 2" across causing the pulley to become misaligned subsequently pushing the fan into the radiator assembly and causing loss of coolant.

      Application: 1990 F-350 7.5L
      Usage: normal, minimal towing
Event details: speed 40mph, engine RPM approx 2000, no load in truck, ambient temp apprx 68 degrees
