Don't cheap out

By

Comments about CARQUEST Water Pump - New:

when my waterpump failed a few months back I shopped around and decided to go with this one as it was half the price of NAPA or any other parts dealer. The product looked and fit perfect and preformed great. Fast foward to 3 months and 10k miles later and the pump has already failed, (leaking from the weep hole). Advanced had no problem giving me another one, but having to spend a day tearing everything apart again stinks. Tip of advice for installing the pump, use an air hammer on the clutch fan nut, it will come right off easily!

Comments about CARQUEST Water Pump - New:

The large o-ring is too big for the waterpump. Kit should also include the o-rings for the tube that connects the waterpump to the thermostats housing.
