    • Q:

After disconnecting the starter how is the best way to remove starter from the maze of wires and hoses? I have a 1990 Cutlass Supreem SL.

There are only 2 bolts on starter, may need to pry starter out of bell housing to release from bell housing. May also be a shim(s) between starter and block. Pry between starter and bell housing prying tip away from transmission towards starter. Be sure to completely remove bolts before trying to remove starter.
