I will be replacing the starter on my '05 Grand Caravan (3.8L).
Are there any special tools or parts needed to complete this job?

          A:

Regular tools should be all that you need. You may need to shim the starter

      • Q:

Can I GET THE SOLENOID SEPERATE?

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

For some starters we do sell the solenoids seperately, it just depends on the vehicle. I recommend contacting your local Advance Auto Parts store, if possible, to see if they have the solenoid for the starter on your vehicle.

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

In order to be more helpful in response to your question, we need specific year and engine size of your Chrysler Town & Country. If you happen to be near an Advance Auto Parts store you can visit the store, or contact us at 1-877-ADVANCE. Then we can help you find the right part to fit your vehicle.
