Comments about CARQUEST Starter - Remanufactured:

Moved the cruise control, took out the battery and battery tray and took out the old starter to take to the store with me to make sure I was buying the right one.Brought the new one home and it slid right in. I read the instructions about tightening it down evenly so I didn't break off any ears. (Damage that isn't covered under the warranty.) Put everything back the way it was and it works great. The reason I changed the starter is that the day before the starter would spin but not engage. It took several attempts to get the car to start. The new starter solved the problem completely. I have driven it over 1,000 miles since I changed with no problems.

For help with your project, I recommend purchasing a repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts.
