Comments about CARQUEST Starter - Remanufactured:

This rebuilt starter was inexpensive. I spent $120 in tow charges, $300 to get the alarm disconnected because I thought the Keyed alarm was the problem. After the 4th time I realized the New Rebuilt starter was faulty and had weak brush springs. It would start after tapping the starter with a hammer. Poor product from Duralast.

Comments about CARQUEST Starter - Remanufactured:

Don't contract out parts to be copied/mfg in CHINA when they can't even get the dimensions straight and the terminals/bolts are 1/3 their original size!

Comments about CARQUEST Starter - Remanufactured:

I had replaced the original starter in my corvette after 20 years the first one lasted a week the second one lasted 2 weeks third lasted a few months the fourth time they sent me the wrong one the fifth time they sent me the wrong one also. I told them they used two different starters this year they acted like I was retarded. Now they realized they did use two different starters this year and they are "working" on taking car of this. My corvette is going to get towed if it stays where its at any longer. If it does advanced will be paying for my towing. Now I just got off the phone and they can not produce the right starter
