Part No. 433993 radiator was a good fit for my 2007 Grand Caravan. The metal bracket on the top had to be removed for my application. The threaded upper mounting "holes" have to be re-used from the old radiator. This is what secures the fans to the radiator. The radiator just slides down along the AC condenser and the top sides of the condenser snap into it. It might have been an easier job if I had removed the front bumper cover. However it wasn't that tough without doing so and I avoided having to reinstall it. I'd also recommend replacing both radiator hoses and the 4 clamps with screw clamps (about $35) just for peace of mind. I replaced the radiator in my 2002 Town and Country about a year ago with this same one and haven'd had any issues with it.

purchased product for 05 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.8, to replace original factory radiator. This radiator is a copy which attempts to fit, however presented two fit problems for my application. issue 1) a/c condensor (which piggybacks onto this radiator & uses integral plastic mounts on radiator to attach) would not align nor stay attached, causing a/c condensor to be loose and risk flopping around. I was forced to use large zip-ties to affix the upper condensor tabs to the radiator. issue 2) clips to hold lower center edge of fan assembly would not permit fan attachment bolts to align (fan shroud height was incorrect with supplied radiator & clips). I had to omit the lower clips to get factory fan to align. Fan shroud is now at risk of warping away from radiator or having extra play on lower edge.
I have put ~750 miles on new radiator so far, it seems to be holding pressure and coolant.
I paid much less than dealer cost for part, but fit is not precise and I am forced to accept that fit and precision are imperfect and inferior to original.

Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

This was the best value radiator that I found. The only negative that I have with it, was that it came with no instructions and it had an extra metal piece on top, which made it fit other models or vehicles. I was almost ready to return it to the store as it would not fit with the "extra" piece on top. If I hadn't watched a YouTube video that showed a guy installing it and then uninstalling it to remove the "extra" piece so it would work...it would have been very time consuming to say the least!
It looks like a good quality radiator.

Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Got the warranty replacement after 1 yr., 4 wks later had to replace because of it leaking again couple days ago. and now got another another replacement for a leak below inlet where the coolant is put in. this is ridiculous. i am praying when i install today that it won't leak because all the time to install really adds up for replacements plus my wife isn't as diligent as i am watching the heating gauge although it hasn't ever overheated it could have.

Perfect fit on the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 3.8L

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I purchased this radiator for a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with the 3.8L motor. The metal bracket on top held in with 4 bolts had to be removed from the brand new radiator. It was an exact fit, and even comes with the plastic brackets to mount the AC condenser, and attach the rubber flaps on the sides. You have to move the two screw thread clips over from the old radiator to install the one piece fan assy. Mine was manufactured after 1/2005 so it has the one piece fan assy. My van now holds coolant pressure, and no more random orange puddles are left.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I don't understand some of the reviews saying this radiator doesn't fit properly. Mine was an exact fit, my condenser and electric cooling fans fit the new radiator perfectly. I filled the radator with straight water and drove around town on errands to verify no leaks. Drained some water and topped off with coolant. No issues at all.

      "Exact Fit" Gave Me Fits

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I purchased this product as an emergency replacement for a failed radiator during a family vacation. The part is marked as an "exact fit" for my 2006 Chrysler Town & Country. It appears it may be possible to remove a section at the top of the radiator to make it fit my vehicle; however I discovered this too late to be helpful. There were no instructions, therefore it seemed reasonable an "exact fit" part would fit without removing a portion of its structure.

The mounting holes in the radiator fan assembly would not align with the nut plates when they were installed in the corresponding locations on the new radiator. I removed the rubber grommets from the top of the fan assembly and was able to get the bolts in with a little encouragement. I attached the fan assembly to the radiator outside the vehicle as it was not possible to align the holes while the radiator was installed.

One of the plastic tabs on the radiator which holds the AC condenser to the radiator had a protrusion which interfered with the fit. I cut the protrusion off with a box cutter to make it fit.

The radiator has two steel studs protruding from the top which interfere with the OEM mounting hardware on my vehicle. I cut these off with a hacksaw and modified the OEM hardware to make it fit.

The overflow tank fitting leaked after reconnecting the overflow tank hose. I wrapped steel wire around the hose at the fitting to seal until I have a chance to replace the hose. No clamp was required on the original radiator. This is not a high pressure line and should not have leaked.

Bottom line: Be very careful if purchasing this item. It may fit, but calling it an "exact fit" is a stretch if not an outright untruth.

I tried to use this "exact fit" replacement on my 2005 Chrysler T&C. My original OEM radiator had mounting tabs that the AC condensor snapped into, but the replacement Ready-Rad had a totaly different mounting system for the condendsor and there was NO way to modify or make it work. Bottom line answer to your question: if the replacement does not have the same mounting system as your OEM, don't try to use it. The condensor is NOT going attach
