Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Unlike the original replacement radiator, this one has plastic/composite tanks and an aluminum core. By all appearances, it should improve cooling but it is not a good replacement for a restoration. It was just slightly wider than the original which made for a snug fit but with a little hand pressure it slid in between the core support braces. I would recommend for a daily driver but spend the extra for a restoration.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I bought this for my '78 F250 w/460-7.5 engine, to replace my original Super Cooler radiator.
This radiator does not fit!!!! My fan shroud is larger than this tiny radiator! I purchased the 433395 first and it didn't fit either!
I'm done with Ready-Rad Radiators!!!!!! Shame on you Advance Auto Parts for carrying this junk! I'm on my way back to the store for ANOTHER refund!

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I purchased this becasue the price was good and was supposed to be an exact fit. The radiator is 2 1/8 inches too wide for a 78 Ford F250. I had to go with the next price up, the 433395, which was the exact fit. I also wrote a review for that product. I'm giving this radiator a good review because I believe it would have been a good radiator if it would have fit. I recommend it if it fits your application.

      Hope this helps.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Radiator is plastic and aluminum, not copper and brass like original. This radiator will fit all 73-79 Ford trucks. It is longer than most of the originals and the drivers side mount clips will not work. I just used two bolts/nuts that matched up with factory holes in the radiator support member.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

[...]. I returned it to the local store and picked up the second one.Installed that one and it leaked between the core and the top tank. I returned that one to my local store and picked up a third one. So far it appears that the third times the charm. No leaks so far but if it does develop a leak I think I will go with a different brand. The quality of this radiator is not very good but you get what you pay for.
