      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

The radiator may not have been the right one, but the box did have the correct part number. It was suppose to be all metal but it was plastic. The fan shroud was larger than the radiator, and It did not even span the opening of the radiator support to reach the mounting points. In the end I spent the $55 and had my original one cut apart and cleaned no warranty but it is a much better quality.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I bought this for my '78 F250 w/460-7.5 engine, to replace my original Super Cooler radiator.
This radiator does not fit!!!! My fan shroud is larger than this tiny radiator! I purchased the 433395 first and it didn't fit either!
I'm done with Ready-Rad Radiators!!!!!! Shame on you Advance Auto Parts for carrying this junk! I'm on my way back to the store for ANOTHER refund!

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I originally purchased the 433433 radiator, plastic tanks with aluminum core, but that was 2 1/8 inches too wide, so it's not a direct fit. I had to go with the more expensive 433395, all metal. It fit perfectly into my 78 F-250, 2WD, no A/C, manual transmission. The inlet and outlet ports are too small but there is an install kit supplied. The kit consists of two rubber adapters, one for the top hose and one for the bottom hose. The kit was hard to find because it was jammed up inside one of the foam corner protectors, so look for it. Also, get some 1 inch bolts for your fan shroud. The original has the shroud screw directly to the radiator, this replacement only has holes, so 1 inch bolts, each with two flat washers, a lock washer and a nut will work. The fill cap is set at an angle toward the front of the vehicle whereas the original was level to the top. This difference didn't pose any issue. It's light, but seems sufficient to handle the cooling of the engine.

      Hope this helps.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Good thing I ordered it online and saved some additional money, this radiator is of low quality and not worth what I paid. But it has a lifetime warranty so your covered. Works very well in 1980 and up F-series p/u using threaded rod to mount it.
