This Rad fits perfect on my 96 Camry v4 2.2L engine. No problems with fan not mounting correctly, everything fit as original. Included are two small tube that connects the transmission lines to the radiator, this was a good thing because the old ones were rusting out and reusing them was like a no-no . Other comments say the radiator is no good but remember one radiator has many applications. If you're ordering for another car best do some research and some part number matching. Other than that the rad is good and the price too.

I am a 15 year import technician. I was installing this radiator for a friend from church.

First the drain plug was done away with, and they expect you to drain it from the hole for the fan switch. Nearly impossible to reach without removing the fan.

Second the fans would not bolt up to the radiator. On the bottom they were okay, but on the top there was 3/8" between the shroud and the mounting hole.

Third, the transmission cooler lines were too small for the hoses on the car, and after using washers and longer bolts to mount the top of the fan shroud, transmission fluid leaked out from around the tubes because they would not seal.

After trying to make this thing fit for 3 hours, i returned it and bought one somewhere else for the same price that actually fit. The manufacturer name was different , but the number was exactly the same. Installed it in 20 minutes. It was a perfect fit.

Before returning the radiator I took it to a store location to check if the part had been packaged incorrectly, but it was the same part. The clerk is the one who suggested the washers and longer bolts.

      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I was wary of the fit of the radiator given the previous reviews. The twin fans of the Toyota Camry didn't line up EXACTLY with the threads of the radiator, but they were close enough to get two or three started. Since the fans are plastic, there was enough give in them to slightly adjust and get the bolts started. Once snug, they lined up just fine.

I know I read a review that described the radiator as NOT having a stopcock for draining, but the one I purchased had one. Also, the two transmission fluid lines that were provided on the radiator worked perfectly with the stock hoses/clamps.

I DID have to remove the temperature sending unit from the old radiator and thread it into the new, but that's to be expected. The radiator came with a new cap too, so that's a plus (even though I didn't necessarily need one).

A near perfect fit, no leaks so far, and nothing to gripe about!

        Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

The radiator fit nicely and had all the correct mounting locations. The only negative is the opening for the fan switch. It doesn't have a recess for the seal so it is a little tricky to install properly.

        Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Description says you could get a carquest or ToughOne. I received the ToughOne. It had the drain plug. I had no problems attaching the fan. Only thing I would do is double check tightness on the Transmission Cooler connections. In the past I had a major leak due to factory did not tighten connectors. This one needed to be snugged a little bit on the right one. My last radiator (Unknown Brand) lasted 5 years then hairline crack on the top middle. No worries about spending anymore money on radiators, since this one has a Lifetime warranty. :)

        Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

As most of the reviewers stated, fan bolts didn't get in for some, so that was frustrating and need to buy the longer bolts as every one suggested to fit in. Most difficult part was the base legs were not aligned to sit properly on the rubber base, it seems like the length of the legs apart is little shorter than the standard one!

            Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

I got this radiator for my 92 Camry LE 4 cyl. all the hoses fit perfecly, my radiator had a drain plug and a hole for my coolant temperature switch. The only problem i had was that the mounts for the fans are not perfect. There was no way i could have got all 4 screw installed for each fan shroud. Right now i only have 2 screws holding each fan shroud.
