    Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

O-rings under transmission line fittings leaked due to o-rings which were balled up into threads, cut and leaked from assembly at factory. Problems turned a two hour job into two weeks of misery. Radiator had to be removed four times to fix leaks. Terrible quality, inspect o-rings under fittings before installtion. Another problem was that the mounting holes for hardware did not align with mounting points on car frame. Had to re-drill holes to mount in car. Basic quality of radiator is ok, too much extra work to mount due quality issues. Not a bad buy if installer inspects o-rings, seals fittings with Permatex, and re-drills mounting holes before installation.

I purchased one of these radiators, and it leaks from the Transmission cooler fittings. It cost a lot of money to remove this radiator and replace it with another one. Does Advanced Auto parts offer any assistance with replacement of defective items that are expensive to swap out?
