I used the radiator to replace the original radiator and it fit very well. I was very surprised not to see a drain petcock like the original had on it, and there were no plugs for the unused transmission oil connections. There were just the copper pipe connections for hooking up hoses if you had an automatic transmission. Being in an area where we sometimes have a lot of ice and snow during the winter, I don't want these to get packed with snow and ice and then possibly freeze up this partof the radiator and cause unrepairable damage so I will have to make my own plugs.

There are three significant issues:

1) The original core is ~1-1/4", this unit has a 5/8" core - I am worried that it will not provide enough cooling capacity come summer.

2) NO CAP! If the radiator needs replacement, the cap certainly shouldn't be reused. Almost all other vendors include brand new caps.

3) NO DRAIN! This is sort of minor, until you need to perform maintenance. They suggest you pull the lower hose, which will work fine, but that is messy, risks damage to the hose, and takes more time.

Overall, I am most concerned about installing a radiator with a significantly smaller core onto a vehicle with an old engine, an engine which could probably use more cooling capacity, not less. For this reason alone, I may return the radiator. The cap and drain issues are very minor in comparison.

        Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

No problems with fit and completeness. Came with a new cap. No problem with the automatic transmission fittings as this is a separate compartment in the radiator when installing on a manual transmission car. You can remove the fittings and tape off the holes. Electric fans fit OK, radiator comes with nuts installed for the fans. Bottom mounts fit correctly into the receivers on the vehicle re-using the original rubber insulators. Comes with a plastic drain plug and doesn't leak.

          Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Unlike other reviewers' experiences with the radaitor, the one I got did in fact have a drain plug so that worked out fine. Fit is good, near perfect in fact consdiering the care is 20 years old, and some things have certainly shifted a bit since it was new. It is considerably narrower than the stock oem, which I was originlly going to get, but shipping would ahve taken to0 long. For noraml driving It does not sem to pose a problem at all. Temp needle is steady at the 8:00 position as it always was.

                    Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

This radiator was not an exact fit for my 1991 Honda Accord, as suggested. It's *ALMOST* an exact fit, but, being an aftermarket part, there were some small differences that lead to some problems.

First, the screw holes to hold the radiator fans on were about half a centimeter off, making it rather difficult to reinstall the fans. The holes are also recessed behind about half a centimeter of plastic. I had to buy new bolts (M6-1.0 x 20 mm length), as the ones that previously held the fans in place were now too short.

Also, the connections for the transmission hoses are a little shorter, and possibly a hair thinner, which lead to leaks. I had to add some screw clamps to stop the leaking. I had bought some replacement hose, as the hoses on the car were now 20 years old, and I ended up having to cut them shorter than the original to make everything fit.

BUT, despite the fact that it was kind of difficult (for me) to install, it seems to function quite well as a radiator. It's been installed for about a week, and I've had no leaks or other problems, and it was far cheaper than taking it to a shop.

Hi Tray! I will be happy to answer your question! Nippon Denso or just Denso is the primary supplier for OEM parts for Toyota. I am assuming Toyo in your initial question is referring to Toyota; the OE will be a Denso product. We do carry OE equivalent parts for your vehicle if you can provide us with your vehicle information. This radiator you linked (Part No 432207) shows to fit 1990-1993 Honda Accord DE EX LX and SE 2.2l 4cyl and 1992-1996 Honda Prelude S and VTEC 2.2l 4cyl.
