      Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

The first one had a pin hole in one of the cooling fins in the middle of the radiator that did not reveal itself until the pressure was built up. The second one has not sprung a leak yet so it appears to be ok. It does come with some lines screwed into the tank so that it will work with other setups. My Durango has the Heavy Duty cooling with the towing package so the lines were removed that came with the radiator and the ones that were on my Durango were then screwed right in. Yes, mine also had an external transmission cooler and worked fine with this radiator. They don't bother to paint them black is about the only other gripe I might have.

If it has an auto trans then almost always the radiator has a trans cooler built in. Sometimes they have an extra external cooler, usually only needed for towing.

The two lines on the right side look like they are for the built in trans cooer.

A tow package is an optional equipment package that generally includes frame connected heavy duty tow bar to pull boats or trailers along with the trailer light plug prewired. Typically a thicker or some type of additional cooling capacity radiator is included along with a higher amperage alternator and higher cranking amp battery to provide power for the additional trailer lights. My 1999 SLT Plus 4wd Durango has the towing package. It has never run hot.
