The radiator was bought as a direct fit for a 1999 Chrysler Town & Country. It is tough to get access to the radiator to ac condenser mounting bolts without evacuating AC system, but I did it. Went to install replacement and had trouble aligning bolts back up only to find the holes drilled 1/8" off from original. Wasted an hour and got very frustrated trying to make it fit until I compared the original. Used a small chainsaw file to slot the holes to get it in. Once in, the overflow hose barb and hold down clips are too small. Had to over crush the hose clamp or buy adaptor. The drain petcock is not identical, so if that goes bad in the future there will be no replacement.

All and all the fit was good. I had some issues installing this on a 97 Chrysler T&C. the mounting bracket holes to attach the A/C condenser were a little off and required drilling out, not a big deal, mounts are plastic.

the overflow hose connection is 2 sizes smaller than factory hose, no room for adapter, with a needed clamp in place, you may cut your finger while taking off radiator cap. mounting bolt holes were about a forth of a hole off center.

Tough One is only the brand. It is made of very thin aluminum and will bend if you are not super careful. Which is hard to do seeing as it does not align up with the factory cooling fan very well. The bottom clips bend as you try to align side bolts and the one I got the top mounting clips did not align at all. Had to remove them and re use clips from factory radiator. It will have you screaming before your done!

Radiator fit very well in my Dodge Caravan. Did have to space the condensor out as the bolt holes pulled the condenser in to tight against the side tanks on the radiator. This radiator is a little difficult to install compared to other vehicles only because of the design of the van not the replacement radiator. Very happy with my choice of replacement radiator.

                    Comments about CARQUEST Radiator:

Picked up the (made in China) radiator at my local Advance and, after spending several hours installing it, discovered it had a pinhole leak in one of the bottom tubes. Removed radiator and took it back for a refund. Time lost on installing and removing defective radiator = 1 day. Went to another local auto parts store and got a different brand of radiator but it appears to be identical to the first one. At least it doesn't leak (yet). The overflow hose on these Chinese radiators is smaller than the OEM hose (approx. 9/16" ID vs. 3/8") so I had to buy a new piece of hose and an adapter to mate the new hose with a short piece of the old hose so it would fit on the nipple of the coolant reservoir. The top two mounting holes of the new radiator had to be enlarged slightly so they would align with the holes in the top of the A/C condenser.

                          A:

I'm glad to assist! I don't see any need for a flaring wrench from my research on the 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L V6 Flex-Fuel VIN: G. On this ToughOne or Ready-Rad Radiator (Part No. 431406), the inlet and outlet of the cooler should be .25". A replacement hose assembly for the cooler lines would only require clamps to make the connections. For more specific removal and installation instructions, I suggest purchasing a repair manual for your vehicle (Haynes Part No. 30011).

Also, you may want to pick up a quart of ATF+4 in case you lose any transmission fluid and some coolant. If your vehicle utilizes the green coolant, you could use Peak Conventional Green Antifreeze/Coolant (Part No. PKA0G3/12016) and distilled water. Peak Long Life 50/50 Prediluted Antifreeze/Coolant (Part No. PRA053) is a great option for a universal type coolant. If your vehicle uses an orange or yellow colored coolant, you'll want a HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) type coolant. Our partner company, Carquest, carries Zerex G-05 Antifreeze. Zerex G-05 is a HOAT based coolant that meets Chrysler specifications.
