Someone at carquest decided to "improve" the OEM design and add half an inch to the outlet connection as well as add a 2 1/2 inch long petcock to the drain. All this did to accomplish was make it impossible to install in a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. There is literaly nothing wrong with the OEM design of these two components. The OEM radiator has been in this Jeep for 140,000 miles before it finally gave out. The Carquest radiator on the other hand didn't even make it to a single engine startup. Packed back up and taking back to the store in the morning.

Once the hassle of getting the fan shroud out of the way was over, the radiator was a piece of cake, hardware kit made attaching the trans cooler lines a snap.

I appreciated the part but after install I had to turn around and take it out because it had a pin HOLE in it. Very aggravated about that. Although the manager did give me some Antifreeze to replace what I lost.
