  • Q:

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer with the 4.0L SOHC engine. I notice this part is bent differently that the OEM. What is meant by rerouting and how does one go about doing so?

Hi George, I'm glad to help you! I own a 99. I've found a lot of helpful information on how to do this online. This link might be helpful - bear in mind that these are do-it-yourselfers that have tackled the project before so the information is use at your own risk.

Another great resource for all jobs on your Explorer is a Repair Manual, Part No. 26688 for Chilton and Part No. 36024 for Haynes.
