Just installed the hose. Exact fit as OEM. Not sure how long it'll last, but it seems to be the same build quality.

CANN'T TRUST WEB SITE FOR EXACT FIT. NEVER ASKED IF FOR 4X4 OR 2WD SUBURBAN. HAD TO CALL LOCAL STORE TO GET CORRECT PART NUMBER. PRICE MIGHT HAVE BEEN LOWER THAN STORE'S REGULAR PRICE.

whats the difference between the conventional and hydroboost? I have a 99 chevy silverado 5.3L v8 4wd

              A:

In the Conventional system there is a hole going from the pump to the rack and pinion, where as in the Hydro boost system it will be located in between the pump and rack and pinion to boost the pressure on the hose.
