A great replacement part for the car. Had a question concerning the transmission cooler section and found no instructionsd so I called Ready Rad. Got an answer with no wait or problem. Turns out that the transmission section is independant of the radiator itself and if it does not apply to your application the plastic plugs can be left in and does not require hook up or permanetly plugged.

Bought first one and possibley gotten a returned one. one clip that goes on the ac condensor was broken off. Exchanged no problem. Now I know why one of the clips were broken. The space of the clips are to small to go onto the condenser. Used a razor and carved a little bit out of each of them on the open part and finally was able to get the clips to work. Once you get past that part installation is easy. Time will tell how good the radiator is. I do have a different style (part # 432476) by them on my elantra and it is holding up good for about 2 years. All they have to do is make the back clips for the condensor opened a tad bit more and this would be a 5 star insallation. Hope it last the rest of the life of this 2001 Saturn SL2 it is installed on.

Basic replacement radiator. I didn't like that the auto trans lines just have soft rubber plugs. Since mine is a standard I didn't have those connections, and leaving those dinky plugs in scares me, but it seems to be holding up well. I had a little trouble with getting the top clips attached to the AC condensor. You have to really jam those on its a tight fit, I ended up breaking off the pass side one in the process. Other than that its a great replacement.

When installing you will have a connection problem on the upper driver side of the radiator and condenser. You may have to open the bottom mounting hole for the through bolt as I did.

Comments about ToughOne or Ready-Rad Radiator:

This is getting OLD... 5 radiators in a 1-1/2 years. Same problem each time, COOLANT leakage/seepage at the UPPER trans line connection. No help from the local store, just swap out another --- oh well! Hoping customer care hotline will come through, most other part stores in the immediate area carry the same MFG part,.,. :-( what a bummer...

Did notice that some of the previous negative reviews with the same problem are now GONE!!!???

Ac condenser does not fit right had to bend clips at top and could only put one screw in at bottom because the ac condenser would not line up in holes so I had to zip tie one side. If you know what you are doing you will have no problem.

The two metal pipe looking things are the inlet and outlet lines for the transmission oil cooler that sets in front of the cars radiator. Let me give you some good advice...use a tubing wrench to loosen and tighten these. Advance sells a metric and SAE set of these wrenches in their stores. It is a royal pain in the Keester if you spin bend these tubes. I bought both sets just to have around. I bent a fuel line once on the inlet line to the carburetor on my Z-28 Camaro. I ended up getting frustrated and stripped the threads on the carb too. They aren't Snap On or Proto grade wrenches, but they do the job and save you a lot of hassle.
