  • Q:

I puchased this fuel pump for my 1965 mustang which has a motor from a 1985 mustang it is a 302/5.0 carburated engine. The pump I took off only had two ports tank to pump and pump to carb. The replacement I bought has 3 ports. tank to pump, pump to carb and one other protruding from the front of pump. I was wondering if someone could enliten me on where the third line should go or do I need to look into gettting a different pump
