Comments about CARQUEST Mechanical Fuel Pump:

This pump lasted just over one year, maybe 5000 miles. It started leaking a decent amount of fuel out of the body (weep hole) of the pump. I replaced a very old but working pump while I had the engine out of my 90 Toyota Truck to not have an issue later. Replacing this pump on the vehicle is a pain so I ended up having to do it anyway. If it's replacement fails also I will try to find a Carter brand like Advance used to carry. I would have paid more money for a Carter to start with but it wasn't available. Even the big mail order performance guys need a few weeks to get one in.

Not very durable for the price. It only lasted 6 months on my pickup before it started leaking fuel from the underside pilot hole.

This pump is not coming with spacer, you can use your old spacer or you can have a new one.
No, it will not have more capacity been closer to the lobe.

you have to use that spacer otherwise you will cause premature pump failure
