        • Q:

I ordered a heater core from you, part # 398361. I took the old one out and put the new one in. it doesn't fit. even though your computer showed exact fit for my van. I found them on other sites listing 6.25 inches wide. yours was 6.75. I can't get the dash board parts back on. Unfortunately I already hooked it up and ran it to make sure it wasn't leaking, so there is now coolant in it. Can I still return it?

Not sure ............ I will attempt to replace mine this weekend. Quote was $550 from dealer. When I saw that part was only 72 bucks I feel the need to attempt to do myself.

It is. The hardest part is getting the hoses off and on the core from the engine compartment. I took the windshield wiper mechanism off and it made it easier to reach behind the engine to get to the hoses. Taking apart the center lower dash wasn't hard it was just time consuming.
