Comments about CARQUEST Heater Core:

The heater core's exit and entry tube's angles were not an exact match to OEM core. Because of this angular deference the housing had to be modified so replacement core would fit into housing. There is also a bracket connecting the two tubes together that had to be removed for placement into housing. Overall core does work for replacement. The packing of core inside box could have been secured better using solid foam inserts instead of paper and cardboard loosly placed around core.

Will this heater core fit a 1983 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. It looks just like the old heater core from this truck. Is an inch shorter. Also, are the inlet and outlet different sizes and if so what are the sizes.
