The stock photo (which says the item contains lithium) is different label than what was mailed to me. What was mailed to me does not indicate if the grease contains lithium. Does the grease that was sent to me contain lithium? I would have not even ordered this product if I knew it wasn't what was pictured on your website at the time I ordered it.

I am looking to replace my ball joints and was looking around for a grease gun which I found. I was looking for grease like this to use for the gun. My question would be is can this grease be used to grease ball joints? The ball joints I will be changing are on a 1990 F150 4WD.

Hello OFT! Happy to help! This grease is perfectly fine for use for ball joints. This grease is multipurpose so it can be used on other parts that need lubrication as long as it has a zerk fitting.

What is the main difference if any, between this grease and the Valvoline Ford approved grease?

Is one or the other of these ok to use on a Ford Tractor?

What about on the Tractor's Mower/Bush hog parts?

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks for your time!

Hi Christopher, I am happy to help out! CARQUEST Grease and Lube Hi Temp Grease 14oz part no. 815-14 is a hi temp grease that can be used in most applications. The Valvoline General Multipurpose Grease for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Vehicles is designed for vehicle use but can be used in other applications. Your can use the Carquest but the recommended grease for tractors would be Green Grease Synthetic Waterproof High Temperature Grease part no. 101.

  • Q:

Is this grease the same as Hi Temp EP Moly grease. Thank you
    Asked on 10/28/2014 by Alessio

    1 answer

Hi Alessio, I'm happy to help! I am unable to confirm if it's the same as a Hi-Temp EP Moly Grease as the MSDS may vary slightly, however it is very similar to it. Both Hi-Temp EP Moly Grease and Advance Auto Parts Hi Temp Grease are similar multi-purpose grease.
