Great alternative to premium gear oils

Comments about CARQUEST Grease and Lube 75W-90 Gear Oil:

Aap and cq branded items are great. I use this GO in high frequency service interval applications like atv. Able to save a lot of money.

Comments about CARQUEST Grease and Lube 75W-90 Gear Oil:

I replaced the factory fill conventional 75W-90 in the front differential of my 2012 Ram 4WD with the AAP fully synthetic GL-5 75W-90 at 30,000 miles. My application doesn't need a limited slip additive so I'm pleased I don't have to pay for something I don't need with this product. The MSDS for this product shows it's manufactured by Old World Industries. I emailed Old World Industries and here's the physical properyies I received. What the Hey? Store brand 80W-90 is a reasonable $5/quart, but the SLIGHTLY more versatile 75W-90 is a whopping [$]/quart? And it doesn't even contain LIMITED-SLIP additive. Where's the gratitude?

Hello there DW! This gear oil is formulated to be universal, it can be used on many applications. But it is meant to be used for situations where you are running low and need to top off your system until you can get what is recommended.

I would recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. This will have many of the specifications needed for a variety of repairs.
