Q:Where is this filter located and how do I install this? Filter for 2007 Hyundai Azera Limited.
A:I'm glad to assist you! The fuel filter on this model is located inside of the fuel tank on the fuel pump module. To change the filter you will need to remove the rear seat than you will see the fuel pump access cover. Remove the cover and then you can remove the fuel pump module assembly. You will find the fuel strainer on the bottom of the module.
Q:Toyota just purchased has been sitting 5 years. Fuel tank has rust in it, Would this strainer catch the rust as it comes from the tank?
A:It would catch it, then the strainer would get clogged. I recommend that you get a new gas tank.
