The product was a OEM type replacement.
The product had a replacement harness.
There were no assembly parts or wiring that needed splicing.
The price was half of an OEM part from the dealer.
The fuel line connections had new o-ring seals. So I did not have to purchase o-rings. Good idea.
All of the connections worked perfectly.
The metal parts were plated so they will stand up against corrosion unlike the OEM part that came off of the vehicle.
I would recommend this part to other buyers who can replace the part themselves.
The product saved me alot of money in labor charges.

put this pump in month and half ago, its very loud, and it only got worse, was in traffic, tried to go around another car, lost power, truck fell on its face, pump started screaming, limped it home, ran fuel pressure test, and yep was the pump, should have paid the extra and would not have to do the pump again, I almost lost my job over it, truck being down, pay the extra and get a Delphi or oem,

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

These are not good pumps. I've now tried 4 of them in my truck. Supposedly they are rated at 80-90 psi, however, the best I could get was with the 3rd pump and that was 63 psi. Don't waste your money on this junk.

The fuel pump is OK, however the fuel Pump O'Ring that comes with part is to large for 97factory fuel tank. It is also not the same design as the factory. It does not have the ears on it to fit in the tank !!

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

My truck died and I had to replace the fuel pump in a hurry. Went to the closest auto parts store and purchased this Airtex fuel pump sending unit assembly.
Took 2 people 4 hours to replace this pump unit.Immediatly noticed how noisy this pump is and also how my fuel gauge is totally erratic.
being such a difficult job , I'm just goind to have to live with it but I would never purchase or reccommend any Airtex products.
Airtex dosen't even stand behind thier own product, they didn't respond to repeated emails I sent them.
I should have read the reviews on this product before I purchased because others are having the same issues as myself.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

Well the first pump fired right up and ran the truck. Everything seemed fine when I left the shop, then I noticed the fuel guage was on empty. No big deal I assumed that when my mechanic replaced the fuel pump that he drained the tank to make it lighter to drop. So I put $30.00 in fuel in it, got back in and the guage hadn't budged. I then drove back to mechanics shop to have hom look at it. He checked the electrical connection plug and determind that it was securely plugged in and that if it wasn't the engine wouldn't run. Once again no big deal, Faulty Part. It happens, so the mechanic pulled the pump assembly out and returned it for another. Now the second one is in and the truck runs but, a few times a day the pump will lose pressure and the motor will sputter and "dog" out. Not only that the fuel guage works but isn't accurate. When I fill the tank up the guage will take anywhere from a 30 to 45 minutes to respond. Also it will not reach the full mark now. It is not my truck, my mechanic checked everything out and I've never had any issues until this Airtex (explecit). My last pump assy. was AC DELCO, it lasted over 6 yrs. and never had a problem until it started to go out. Even then it worked if I gave it a shot of ether, and it would run fine after that. Soon I will be replacing it again with a dependable part before it leaves me stranded out of town, in the middle of the night.
