Great Product at Exceptional Value

Part was easy to install once tank was off truck. Most difficult part was dropping full gas tank in 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew and getting all connections off.

Didn't last

The pump lasted 1 year and 3 months. Just long enough to be out of warranty. Now I get to spend hours of my time and another $166 for a repeat repair.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

airtex makes a lot of oem fuel pumps for cars and truks. Also, their website has helpful info and videos. Replaced fuel pump assembly on a ford f150 supercrew. hard part was dropping fuel tank, replacing fuel pump assembly was easy.
Make sure you know your truck's wheelbase so you get the right part. Some pumps deliver more/less pressure depending on wheelbase of vehicle.

Fairly easy to install. I removed the bed from the truck and was done in less then an hour. So far no problems with this product. I bought this particular pump for the warranty, lifetime.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Sender Assembly:

since the fuel pump is located in the top of the tank. I checked with my brother who replaced his pump years ago, said if the tank is more then a 1/4 full. It's easier to undo the bolts and prop-up the bed of the truck then to try to support and lower a tank with gas in it. That worked great for me.

I've asked once but needed to provide additional information...that is already entered, but here goes.
I have a 2001, Ford F-150 SuperCrew, 4X4, with a 5.4L regular gasoline engine. I need to be certain that this is the fuel pump I need. I hope this doesn't appear too inflammatory, but that is a relative term.
