  • Q:

I have read that 2004 Jaguar S type R (supercharged) have a bit of a special fuel system, they don't have the jet pump/fuel pump setup, it's more like two fuel pumps which run simultaneously at full above 3000 RPM.

I have a defect in my Fuel Pump, the engine is not igniting, we sprayed the Supercharged with fuel, it did the trick and ignited the engine for a while, but we couldn't manage to get it ignited again, we assume it's the fuel pump system.

There has been history with Jaguar S type R Fuel Pump hose getting detached.

My question is, if I am buying two fuel pump assemblies, do I need any extra part to connect them with the tank? Any transfer pump etc...

    Thank you for your answers.

I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
